Psychiatrist and neuroscientist studying the aging brain
I study how the brain changes as we grow older, and whether noninvasive brain stimulation can slow cognitive decline and treat depression in later life. I trained in systems neuroscience at UC Irvine, where I recorded thousands of neurons at once to watch memories take shape, and I'm now a research-track psychiatry resident at UT Southwestern. I also write and make audio about the science of aging minds, for the clinicians, scientists, and caregivers who look after them.
